We were tired of working on 21st century problems with a 20th century mindset--both lacking mind & heart.
As HR data scientists, we knew that AI, machine learning, & good-old-fashioned statistics could allow us to better serve our business and employee stakeholders than the status-quo.
It shocked us how little strategy or rigor went into multi-million dollar decisions, which had significant impact on ROI & worker's day-to-day livelihood.
Thus, we launched HRai Labs as a consultancy and an evolving SaaS service line.

We launched our free & open-source equity toolkit so we could empower everyone to do better.

Juniper Feld co-founder & CEO
Juniper is a senior data scientist with over 15 years of people analytics experience & expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning & AI product development.
She has experience in businesses of all sizes & stages across many sectors, including banking, tech, consultancy, higher ed & healthcare.
Her tenure includes companies like NVIDIA, Dell Technologies, Goldman Sachs, Silicon Valley Bank, Stanford University & Brightside Health.
Her educational background includes a Masters from the Marriot School of Management, BYU & a BA in History from the University of Utah.
A first-generation US citizen, mother, spouse & transgender woman--diversity, equity, & inclusion holds a special place in Juniper's heart. She spends her free time tending her garden, chasing after her littles & serving her community by facilitating a support group.
Udit Mehrotra co-founder & Chief Scientist
A distinguished data science leader with close to a decade of experience spanning consulting, technology, and financial services sectors.
As co-founder & Science Officer of HRai Labs, he leverages advanced analytics & AI to transform human resources operations & decision-making.
He has held senior data science roles at industry leaders including Dell Technologies, where he led People Analytics initiatives focusing on predictive modeling for hiring and pay equity.
At McKinsey & Company, he served as a Senior Data Science Consultant in the People and Organizational Performance practice, delivering workforce analytics solutions to global clients.
Currently at Stripe, he specializes in Experimentation & Causal Inference.
Udit holds a degree in Statistics with specialized certification in Statistical Modeling.
As an active educator, he coaches professionals in Python, SQL, and Machine Learning, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise & practical HR analytics experience to drive innovation in people analytics.
